Cubs Abdul Williams Hurt Sunday, May 19th , 2052 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Cubs when after today's game against the Falcons, the club found out they would be without the services of Abdul Williams for at least 3 weeks. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Williams was injured earlier today running the bases and suffered plantar fascitis. So far this year Williams is batting .231 with 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and 13 runs scored. |
