Injury Setback for Tigers Vargas Friday, July 7th , 2051 First Carlos Vargas got hurt and suffered a torn quad. Now he is going to miss even more games. Treatment was going well until yesterday when the Tigers left fielder overextended himself in a workout and suffered a setback. The Detroit medical staff have now revised his recovery time to at least 2-3 months. Carlos Vargas is expected to undergo surgery in Unknown tomorrow. Batting .236 to date, Vargas has 4 home runs and 22 RBIs. |
