Montreal-Houston Deal Confirmed Monday, August 14th , 2051 The Baseball News Network is reporting that the Expos and Astros have consummated a trade. Houston will receive $1 in cash in a swap for 39-year old LHP J.D. Taylor and $201,482 in cash. A league analyst called the trade a "fairly even transaction." Houston will retain a portion of Taylor's remaining contract. To this point in the season he has had 1 save. Taylor has made 12 relief appearances, tossed 33 innings and struck out 38 with a record of 2 wins and no losses. |
