Blues Lose Brown for Season Thursday, August 17th , 2051 R.J. Brown has to call it a season. The Memphis Blues left fielder sustained a season-ending injury against the Boston Red Sox and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Brown was injured while throwing the ball. His doctors diagnosed it as radial nerve compression and stated that he would not be able to play for 3 months. This year Brown has hit at a .300 pace and produced 43 RBIs, 15 home runs and scored 43 runs. |
