Alvarez Honored by Western Region Monday, September 4th , 2051 Patrick Alvarez did nothing to hurt his value as an upcoming free agent last week, making contact with the ball at every opportunity and reeling in the Western Region Player of the Week Award. The catcher hit .625 for the Knights, recording 5 hits in 8 at-bats, 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Thus far this year Alvarez is hitting .282 with 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and 7 runs scored. |
