Indianapolis's Rafael Lopez Suffers Setback Wednesday, April 10th , 2052 The Indianapolis Ignition announced today that Rafael Lopez would be missing for longer than expected as the 24-year-old reliever recovers from shoulder inflammation. "Rafael had been working out with the team recently, but felt some discomfort yesterday," the Ignition GM explained to the press. "After re-examining the injury, the team's medical staff decided that Lopez would need extra time to heal. Their estimate is 8 months more recovery time." Rafael Lopez is expected to undergo surgery in Unknown tomorrow. |
