Minatitlan Loses Underwood for Year
Wednesday, July 18th, 2007
Ryan Underwood will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Minatitlan starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Underwood was injured while throwing a pitch in the Gold Rush-Charros clash at Gold Rush Ballpark recently. Doctors said he has radial nerve compression and would be out a minimum of 8-9 months.

This year Underwood has fashioned a 4-4 mark, 3.67 ERA and pitched 68.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .243 against him and he has logged 69 strikeouts.
