MRL's Best Player Named Monday, July 23rd, 2007 This week's outstanding performer in the Mexican Reserve League was first baseman Mike Dooley of the Acuexcomac Steelhounds. He racked up a .591 average and was voted the Player of the Week. Over the last week Dooley plastered 13 hits in 22 at-bats and 1 home run, drove in 6 runs and scored 11 times. Currently Dooley has 11 home runs and a .301 batting average. |
