Grant Awarded July's MRL Top Bat Prize Wednesday, August 1st, 2007 Prospective free agents love to have hot streaks and Chris Grant is no exception. The Madero first baseman capped off a fine month by hauling in Batter of the Month honors in the Mexican Reserve League. In July Grant hit .368 with 10 home runs, 26 RBIs and 24 runs scored. Currently Grant is hitting .337 and has collected 14 home runs, 44 RBIs and scored 39 times, while playing in 50 games. |
