Dreadful Season Sees Playoff Hopes Dashed for Sagua de Tanamo Saturday, August 25th, 2007 Did anyone think the Sagua de Tanamo Railroaders had a chance at the postseason this year? It was already quite unlikely, and now even the smallest hopes have been dashed -- the team was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. This is the 2nd time in a row that the Railroaders have missed the playoffs. Their last payoff appearance was in 2005.Sagua de Tanamo last won the Mexican Reserve Championships in 2005. |
