Imperials Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Monday, August 27th, 2007 Did anyone think the Santa Catarina Imperials had a chance at the postseason this year? It was already quite unlikely, and now even the smallest hopes have been dashed -- the team was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. This is the 5th time in a row that the Imperials have missed the playoffs. Their last payoff appearance was in 2002. |
