Scorpions Lose Romero for Season
Monday, August 27th, 2007
Juan Romero of the Scorpions just might have to call it quits for the season. The 31-year-old Cordoba starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Cuernavaca Tanks recently at Cuernavaca Grounds. Romero suffered radial nerve compression while throwing a pitch. The Scorpions medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 5 months.

This year Romero has a 6-4 record and a 3.45 ERA.
