Pitcher of the Month Named in MRL Saturday, September 1st, 2007 Arturo Almazan was on top of the world in August, capping it off with the Mexican Reserve League Pitcher of the Month honors. The Xitla starter was superb in 6 starts with 5 wins and no losses, 38 innings pitched, 40 strikeouts and a fine 1.89 ERA. For the year Almazan has compiled a 11-3 record with a 2.90 ERA. |
