Xitla Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Thursday, September 6th, 2007 Arturo Almazan said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Xitla Steeldogs after they missed the Mexican Reserve League playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. This is the 5th time in a row that the Steeldogs have missed the playoffs. Their last payoff appearance was in 2002. |
