Cuernavaca's Antas Sidelined for Season Sunday, September 9th, 2007 The season is apparently over for Orestes Antas. The Cuernavaca Tanks medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 13 months with a torn rotator cuff. Antas was hurt in the game against Cuicatlan while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This season Antas has chalked up 1 save, notched a 1-2 record with a 5.28 ERA, allowed 35 hits in his 30.2 innings of work, struck out 24 and walked 18. Opponents are hitting .285 against the Cuernavaca hurler. |
