Pump Jacks Sanders No-Hits Steeldogs Monday, September 10th, 2007 Ed Sanders was untouchable today at Pump Jacks Stadium, displaying a good fastball and wicked breaking balls in his 8-0 win against the Xitla Steeldogs. The Coatzacoalcos hurler did not allow a single hit, fanning 11 while walking 2. "This is great," Sanders told reporters after the game. "Every pitcher wants a no-hitter. I just wanted the win, but the no-hitter is a little extra icing on the victory cake." On his stats sheet this season Sanders shows a 5-3 record, 3 starts, 65 innings, 71 strikeouts and a 2.91 ERA.
