Season Over for Juan Caceres in Cuernavaca Saturday, September 15th, 2007 Juan Caceres has to call it a season. The Cuernavaca Tanks starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Madero Dynamo and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Caceres was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as bone chips in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 5-6 months. For this year Caceres has chalked up 1 win and 2 losses in 8 starts with 36 strikeouts in 38.2 innings and a 1.86 ERA. |
