Juan Belman Captures MRL Award Monday, September 17th, 2007 Zitacuaro Tides first baseman Juan Belman had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the Mexican Reserve League named him Player of the Week. Belman banged out 10 hits in 20 at-bats on the way to a .500 batting average. He also racked up 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 9 runs scored. For the season Belman is hitting .331, batted in 81 runs with 23 home runs and 77 runs scored. |
