Season Possibly Over for Pat McKnight Sunday, June 4th , 2028 A blow for Pat McKnight today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 7 months with a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. McKnight suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the New Orleans Baby Cakes are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about McKnight's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. This season McKnight has picked up 3 saves and posted a 4-0 record with a 2.08 ERA. He has 13 relief appearances, tossed 17.1 innings and struck out 33. |
