IL's Best Batter Selected Saturday, September 1st , 2040 Durham right fielder Javier Menendez took home the International League Batter of the Month Trophy for August. He put up some solid numbers, including a .290 batting average and .319 on-base percentage with 31 hits, 17 home runs, 38 RBIs and 23 runs scored. Presently Menendez is batting .260 with 139 hits and 55 home runs. He has knocked in 124 runs and scored 90 times. |
