CFL Announces Outstanding Batter Award Thursday, June 1st , 2028 Mike Mejia has a lot going for him. The Winston-Salem right fielder just broke into the majors this year and now the Carolina-Florida League has just picked him as its top hitter for May. In 28 games last month this outstanding rookie batted .400 with 8 home runs, 24 RBIs and 19 runs scored. This season Mejia is swinging the bat at a .293 pace. He has hit 11 home runs and scored 26 times, while driving in 38. His on-base percentage is .349 and he has played in 52 games. |
