Alba on Fire, 5-for-6 Against Rancho Cucamonga Tuesday, May 28th , 2052 It was a sensational day at the plate for Martín Alba as he led the charge to a 10-0 win over the Rattlers. The Lake Elsinore first baseman was pure misery for the Rancho Cucamonga pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 6 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Alba put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Brandon Griffin, manager for the Rattlers, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Martín Alba grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Max De Jesus in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
