ECL's Star Player Named Monday, June 24th , 2052 The East Coast League has named its Top Player of the Week. The honor went to Jacob Tamosaitis, center fielder of the Charlotte Stone Crabs. In an extraordinary hitting display, he belted out hits at a .480 pace to win the award. Tamosaitis went 12-for-25 for the week, totaled 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and scored 10 times. This year Tamosaitis has socked 79 hits in 290 at-bats for a .272 average with 7 home runs. He is getting on base at a .357 pace and his totals also include 30 RBIs and 53 runs scored. |
