League Suspends Lillibridge Friday, September 9th , 2050 Newt Lillibridge is not exactly engendering good will with the men in blue these days. At least that was the case yesterday at the Lynchburg-Jupiter game. He became highly abusive when he was called out on strikes. That behavior was unacceptable to league disciplinary officials and they notified the Hillcats left fielder that he had been suspended for 2 games. Lillibridge's current batting average stands at .296 and he has chalked up 7 home runs and 48 RBIs. |
