Players Suspended in Ports-Stompers Donnybrook Sunday, September 17th , 2062 If there wasn't a history between Naldo Merino of Stockton and Luke Cunnamarra of Sonoma, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 3 and 7 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Merino said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." In his 2062 season totals, Merino has 15 home runs, .315 BA, .357 OBP, 72 RBIs and 69 runs scored. This season, Cunnamarra has 11 wins and 4 losses and a 3.12 ERA. |
