Souza and Curry Suspended 3 Games Sunday, June 18th , 2051 Baseball officials have notified the Pit Spitters and Keys organizations that one of their players has been suspended for "inappropriate and aggressive behavior" in yesterday's Traverse City-Frederick contest at Sun Sox Ballpark. Jonny Souza of the Pit Spitters and Gerome Curry of the Keys will have to sit out 3 games for their roles in the free-for-all brawl. This year Souza has hit at a .290 pace and produced 11 RBIs, 2 home runs and scored 10 runs. Thus far this season Curry has saved 1 games. His won-lost mark is 3 wins and no losses with 26 strikeouts in 33.2 innings, along with a 3.21 ERA. |
