4-Game Suspension for Poe Monday, August 21st , 2051 Case Poe is not exactly engendering good will with the men in blue these days. At least that was the case yesterday at the Traverse City-Cocoa game. He became highly abusive when he was called out on strikes. That behavior was unacceptable to league disciplinary officials and they notified the Pit Spitters first baseman that he had been suspended for 4 games. This season Poe has banged out 17 hits in 73 at-bats for a .233 average with 2 home runs. He is getting on base at a .398 pace and his totals also include 19 RBIs and 7 runs scored. |
