Hillcats Captures Wild Card Tuesday, August 29th , 2051 Cheers, laughter, and even a few tears filled the Lynchburg Hillcats clubhouse as the team celebrated a East Coast League wild card berth. "We didn't win the division like we wanted to, but I'm still smiling," said reliever Woody Saraceno. "In the end, we've still got a chance to win the A+ Championship Series and that's the important thing." The club has a 74-60 record and will be seeking the 10th Single A Advanced championship in team history. |
