Hyder Brilliant -- Fires No-Hitter Sunday, August 29th , 2055 Is it better to be lucky or good? After leading the Martinez Clippers to victory, 2-0, and tossing a no-hitter over the Visalia Rawhide, Damien Hyder didn't have the answer. "I don't know," Hyder said. "To do what I did today, I'm pretty sure it takes both." On his big day at Rawhide Ballpark, Hyder fanned 6 and had 3 walks. And it seemed that when the Rawhide managed to hit the ball hard, it went right at a defender. "That's how you get a no-hitter," Hyder said with a smile. "A lot of skill mixed with a little luck."
