Blaze Move on to Divisional Series Saturday, October 1st , 2067 Bakersfield Blaze won a nail-biting series against the Stockton Ports 4-3, wrapping up the Wild Card Series finale 5-0 at Jim Perry Stadium. Blaze first baseman Tim Gosnell was named the series MVP. He batted .357, drove in 10 runs and scored 4 to lead Bakersfield into the next round of play. "Tim was real solid for us, real solid," said Blaze manager Owen Wood. "I normally say I'd like to have nine of him out there, but thankfully we got by with just one this time."
