League Issues 4-Game Suspensions for Brawl Sunday, April 21st , 2052 It was an intense fight, so Hector Valdez and Jeff Terry were both suspended today for 4 games for their part in a brawl which happened in a game between the Santa Cruz Cruisers and the Lancaster JetHawks at LoanMart Field. Valdez said, "Luckily nobody was hurt. I think we both overreacted to the situation." Thus far this year Valdez is hitting .135 with no home runs, 2 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Currently Terry has a 2-0 won-lost record in 0 starts with a 0.82 ERA. He also has 17 strikeouts in 11 innings. |
