McCleerey and De León Suspended for Free-for-All Monday, April 22nd , 2052 Dave McCleerey of the Ventura Gulls and Javier De León of the Rancho Cucamonga Rattlers will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 8 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Gulls-Rattlers game at Gulls Ballpark. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN McCleerey and De León will begin serving them soon. Currently McCleerey is batting .333 with no home runs and 4 RBIs. |
