5-Hit Blitz by South Bend's Arredondo Sunday, April 28th , 2052 It was a big day for Duarte Arredondo and he brought the South Bend Cubs along for the ride. Arredondo led his club to a 6-5 victory over the Flint Wolverines today at Four Winds Field at Coveleski Stadium, smoking Flint pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. The 24-year-old catcher later called the victory "sweet." Duarte Arredondo struck out in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 6th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 10th and singled in the 12th.
