Shorebirds Baltzell Smacks 5 Hits Monday, April 24th , 2056 Miles Baltzell did a number on the Crawdads in the 14-7 Delmarva victory -- and the number was 5. The Shorebirds left fielder banged out 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium to lead his club past the Hickory Crawdads. "I felt good in the batter's box," he said. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done." Miles Baltzell singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 7th.
