League Takes Action, Berg Suspended Tuesday, May 14th , 2052 A press release issued by the league stated that RiverDogs shortstop Hunter Berg was suspended for "confronting a game official" after yesterday's Charleston-Greensboro at NewBridge Bank Park. In the statement the league said, "This is totally unacceptable behavior and will be dealt with harshly." Berg had a run-in with the home plate umpire during the game and was ejected for vehemently objecting to a third strike. Berg is currently batting .207 with 1 home run and 7 RBIs. |
