Magpusar Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Sunday, May 19th , 2052 Iñigo Magpusar has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Delmarva third baseman picked up 2 more today against the Hickory Crawdads and now has a 20-game hitting streak. The Shorebirds won the game 7-6. "Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." Iñigo Magpusar singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Dan Wasden in the 5th, flied out in the 6th, struck out in the 8th, walked in the 10th and struck out in the 11th. So far on the season Magpusar is hitting .382 with 6 home runs, 26 RBIs and 19 runs scored. He has 52 hits and played in 36 games. |
