League KO's GreenJackets-Intimidators Players with 3-Game Suspensions Wednesday, June 5th , 2052 Today the league office handed out 3-game suspensions to Bernard Boyd of the GreenJackets and Dandrae Steele of the Intimidators for their roles in a benches-clearing skirmish at First Energy Park yesterday. The league commissioner said in the statement to both organizations, "This league does not condone fighting and aggressive conduct on the field, thus we had to take action to discourage this behavior in the future." In 18 games this season Boyd has compiled a .261 batting average with 6 hits and 1 home run. He has also scored 3 times and knocked in 3 runs. This year his season stats show Steele has 2 saves in 9 relief appearances with a 1-1 record and 4.25 ERA. |
