Season-Ending Injury for LaRon Stewart Sunday, June 25th , 2056 The Greenville Drive will be minus LaRon Stewart for about 5 months after the starting pitcher suffered a torn meniscus while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Savannah Bananas. Stewart and Drive skipper Tim Fox had been hoping the post-game examination would show less damage than originally thought. On his stats sheet for the year Stewart shows a 5-6 record, 16 starts, 92.1 innings, 64 strikeouts and a 3.12 ERA. |
