Miller and Tusk Suspended for Free-for-All Monday, July 3rd , 2056 After an intense confrontation, both the Catfish Keith Miller and the Drive Tanek Tusk were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Columbus-Greenville game. Keith Miller will miss 3 games, while Tanek Tusk was suspended for 7 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Keith Miller commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." This season, Miller has posted a batting average of .268 with 77 hits in 287 at-bats, 20 home runs and 51 RBIs. He has also scored 39 runs, walked 30 times and compiled a .344 OBP. So far this year, Tusk has 1 win and 8 losses and a 4.40 ERA. |
