Star of the Week Honored in SAL Monday, August 4th , 2064 The votes have been tallied and the winner of the South Atlantic League Player of the Week has been named. It was awarded earlier today to Patrick Boisvert for his great week at the plate. The Greensboro catcher took home the trophy by banging out 10 hits in 17 at-bats for a .588 batting average, driving in 3 runs and scoring 4 times. This season, Boisvert is hitting .324 with 11 hits, 1 home run, 3 RBIs, scored 4 runs and played in 10 games. |
