Aden Alvarez Injured, Out for Year Sunday, May 21st , 2051 Hagerstown starting pitcher Aden Alvarez suffered a season-ending injury throwing a pitch in today's game against the RiverDogs. According to club doctors Alvarez has a torn labrum. Although Alvarez has declined to comment, sources close to the player have stated that he is "devastated" that he will miss the playoffs. For the year Alvarez has compiled a 3-0 record with a 3.32 ERA. |
