Haycraft Goes 5-for-7 Thursday, June 15th , 2051 Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Geoffrey Haycraft of the Jonesboro Growlers had one of those moments when he went 5-for-7 at the plate today in the 5-4 win over the Rome Braves at Growlers Ballpark. "I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 21-year-old third baseman told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years." Geoffrey Haycraft singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, flied out in the 8th, singled in the 11th and singled in the 12th.
