The Math Says - West Virginia Out of Playoffs Saturday, August 12th , 2051 Even the most die-hard fans of the West Virginia Power will likely now start focusing on next year. The team was today mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. "We're disappointed," said Power reliever Daniel Seaton. "Not just for ourselves, but also for the fans that stick with us every year." This is the club's 3rd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2048. In total, the Power have missed the playoffs 44 times in their 48-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Power have missed the playoffs 7 times. West Virginia last won the A Championship Series in 2040. |
