MID's #1 Player Named Monday, June 15th , 2065 It was an extraordinary week for Lucius Johnson of the Quad Cities River Bandits. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .414, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Midwest League. Last week Johnson went 12-for-29, racked up 2 home runs and 3 RBIs and scored 4 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Quad Cities left fielder. Johnson has collected 54 hits for the River Bandits this year, 4 of them home runs. He has also netted 26 RBIs and scored 29 runs while batting .327. |
