Gremlins Lose Ayala for Season Saturday, July 18th , 2048 The season is finished for Roberto Ayala of the Youngstown Gremlins. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Gremlins center fielder suffered a fractured elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Roseburg Owls. Team doctors said it would take at least 6 months to heal. This year Ayala is hitting .338 with 2 home runs. |
