Ocano Gets 5 Hits Friday, June 28th , 2052 Even as a kid, Javier Ocano said his coaches told him the key to hitting was making contact, and letting everything else flow from there. At Portland Ballpark today, Ocano showed how well he learned that lesson. The 21-year-old center fielder had 5 hits in 6 at-bats for the Maine Lobsters, helping his team knock off the Wenatchee Chiefs by a score of 13-6. "They always said, just keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing, make contact and you never know what will happen," he said. "That's all I did today."
