Season Ends for Geder Borja of State College Saturday, July 10th , 2038 Geder Borja of the Spikes just might have to call it quits for the season. The 23-year-old State College reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Connecticut Tigers recently at Senator Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium. Borja suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch. The Spikes medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 7 months. |
