De La Paz Goes on Rampage Against Muckdogs Saturday, September 10th , 2050 Fans at Medford Ballpark got to see not only a home-team victory today, but also one of the most impressive feats of hitting of the season. The Rogue Valley Dodgers outplayed the Batavia Muckdogs en route to a 11-4 win, but the standout was third baseman Jorge De La Paz. De La Paz netted 5 hits in 6 at-bats and finished with a dynamite game line. "Hey, we tried everything we could think of to get him out," Muckdogs manager Adam LaBreck said in postgame comments. "We threw everything but the kitchen sink against him and he hit it. Maybe we should've thrown the sink, too." Jorge De La Paz singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
