Boothroyd Gone for Season in Boise
Saturday, July 17th , 2049
The season is finished for Jonah Boothroyd of the Boise Hawks. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Hawks catcher suffered torn ankle ligaments while colliding with a player at a base in a recent game against the Brooklyn Cyclones. Team doctors said it would take at least 4 months to heal.

Boothroyd is swinging at a .244 pace on the year with 1 home run, 6 RBIs and 9 runs scored. He has played in 24 games.
