Auburn Narrowly Wins New York-Penn League North Division
Thursday, September 1st , 2039
Grown men turned into little boys, some even breaking into tears, in the Auburn Doubledays clubhouse, after the team clinched the New York-Penn League North Division.
"We can relax a bit, for now anyway," said manager Adam Jenson. "I'm proud of every guy in the room for what we've done this season."
The club has a 41-27 record as they head towards the playoffs in search of their 5th Low A Championship Series championship. Starting Pitcher Deegan Molaison said the team is happy to clinch what is the club's 15th division title, but "wouldn't be happy until we're lifting that trophy."
